Smashing through the radio silence….

Sorry for the big gap in posts, folks! We haven’t had internet for ages (okay, just 7 days or so but still) A week ago, we were enjoying a wonderful evening with friends in the hills near Melbourne prior to packing up for our next travel day…to Alice Springs in the Northern Territory. Julian has a post coming up to document our unusual travel day(s)…. As for me, I can say that the Northern Territory has no lack of flies. It does have a lack of internet access, however! Last full day in Cambodia – July 1st :)

Happy Canada Day! Of course we haven’t seen any flags or red and white cakes or fireworks here, but we are celebrating in our hearts with you all nonetheless. (Our Canadian readers, that is – we will mark the USA’s Independence Day by flying into Vietnam which seems even less fitting than July 1st in Cambodia but I digress…). The girls and I had a quick swim this morning, then joined Julian for breakfast (our usual of fresh fruit juice, jasmine tea, amazingly buttery and flaky croissants, fresh crusty buns, dairy-fresh yogurt, fresh fruit and a bit of omelette). After — Read the Rest…
