Alive and well but little/no internet access

We are sorry for our absence from this blog and any inconvenience or worry this situation may have caused! Thank you for your concern. We are alive and well and quite enjoying South Africa.  We simply haven’t had much access to WiFi/ internet during our time here.  We have had plenty of access to elephants, warthogs, antelope and even lions! But all from a safe distance from the car with our windows rolled up. Also met with some lovely South AFrican Girl Guides and their leaders last night, and are even being taken on a day tour today by one — Read the Rest…

Highlights from Sao Paulo

We are on our way to Sao Paulo (GRU) airport soon, but I didn’t want to leave without posting a few highlights of our time here. Meeting Ms Hansen’s brother and his wife. They are both charming, generous people who made our day lots of fun, despite the conditions (Lots of places on our itinerary were closed due to the May 1st holiday). We are sorry that we will not be home in Toronto when they visit this summer. Hopefully our paths will cross again. Drinking fresh milk, not UHT treated! This is the first time since NYC. Having decaf — Read the Rest…
